Thansgiving!

Alrighty! So Thanksgiving was SO great! Delicious food, wonderful company, and great memories. My grandma came to enjoy the festivities and my brother's friends also made the drive from Toole. Tony and Fabiola brought their darling little girl, Maya, whom is absolutely a doll. We ended up playing the game Curses, a game where you give each other "curses" and challenges to deal with throughout the card game. For instance, one curse was that you had to talk like a pirate every time you talked. Definitely a bundle of laughs right there ha ha.

And then on Thanksgiving night, Me, my mom and sister braved the below freezing temperatures and went shopping at midnight at Park City. It was so much fun! Call us crazy, but we seriously got the best deals around. Almost everything was like a thousand percent off and I bought this jacket for next to nothing. Yep, that's right. What could be more fun than shopping with the girls in the middle of the night? Ha I swear we were t some of the only Americans down there. Almost everyone was from a different country...I could hear the diverse languages swirling around me as we walked in and out of stores. Sometimes I wish I knew a few languages so I could listen in on their conversations without them knowing. Ha we were in Ralph Lauren and I kid you not, almost every person in there was Asian. But anway, we had alot of good laughs and made alot of funny memories. We were out till five in the morning and stopped at Denny's to get breakfast. Let me just say that being out that late makes for some really interesting conversations. Everything tends to be funny when its that late/early in the morning!

My mom is probably one of the coolest people out there because this evening was her suggestion. Sometimes I think we have too much fun together, just us three girls. When I'm a mom and have a family, hopefully I can be as awesome as my mom :) Gotta love her! This was probably one of the most memorable  Thanksgiving so far...

Bestie

My very best friend in the whole wide world is Bailey Mckell Dutton. I've known her since elementary school, but we didn't become friends until my sophomore year in high school. I just remember being in ballroom class with her, goofing off and joking around. She was always the extrovert, and I was always the quiet and relaxed friend. We've been through alot together; more so these past two years. Boyfriends, missionaries, family problems, friends getting married, and the list goes on and on. She's the one person that I can always count on to listen to and help solve my problems. We've had MANY crazy adventures, pretty much everytime we're together is an adventure itself. Something odd always happens, but then again, it wouldn't be us if something crazy didn't make its way into our plans.

Now, Bailey has been faithfully called to serve in the Chilean Racaguan Mission. She leaves February 2, 2011. Those little Chileans have no idea what's coming their way! They will LOVE her to pieces. She has the biggest heart and the determination to convert everyone in her area. I am so glad that he has decided to serve! This is her time to go and experience her own adventures and become the person that she always dreamed that she could become. I don't know what I will do without her, but I guess its my turn to go do something amazing while she's away being her awesome self.

I am greatful for the many people that are blessed to enter our lives every day. We have no idea the impact that we make on one another and its our job to enjoy it and be the best that we can all the time. Who knows who watching us! So, with Bailey's call to serve, it is my goal to be the best person I can so that I can be of service to others. Just live it up! :)

New

Well. I've done it. I've finally succumbed to the blogging world and have decided to write about my life so others can read it for their own enjoyment. Not that anyone would want to read about me. I'm not that interesting, I promise. But then again, maybe it will be this amazing blog that everyone will love and talk about and I'll win an award for the best blog ever created...Yeah. Let's dream big here, people. I'm totally kidding. I guess blogging is like journaling. I'm absolutely horrible at keeping a journal, though I wish I wasn't. Seriously. If you look at it, the last journal entry was probably from August. And very, very sporadic before that. Maybe if I had a nice journal to write in instead of a notebook, it might be more enjoyable. So at my expense in keeping a journal, this will have to suffice for now.

Let me just tell you why I decided to name it Adventure Time. I once watched this show titled Adventure Time. It's this random cartoon about random characters that go on adventures that pretty much don't make sense. Let's just say the whole show is random. Its absolutely hilarious! Anyway, I sometimes feel like my life is like Adventure Time; random and hilarious and full of adventures that don't quite make sense until I see the whole picture at the end. But shouldn't everyone's life be full of adventures? What is life then, if we don't go out and experience something that doesn't make sense? Life is for living, and you should do it with the people that you care about the most.

So, this blog is dedicated to the adventures, thoughts, and ideas that I encounter throughout my "Adventure Time" with the people that I meet along the way. It probably won't be fantastic or outrageous, but at least it will be an adventure nonetheless.
